Paving Project on US 60 Continues Between Globe & Show Low

Paving on US 60 between Globe and Show Low

Drivers should expect around-the-clock lane restrictions

The road realignment and paving project north of Salt River Canyon between Globe and Show Low has entered its second phase.

Traffic is being moved onto the new road alignment and a new lane closure is requiring around-the-clock flagging operations for the next two months. Crews will continue working in the old road’s alignment, as well as removing and replacing pavement and finishing drainage basins.

Work hours will be sunrise to sunset Monday through Friday with flaggers and law enforcement on site seven days a week. Motorists should plan on delays of up to thirty minutes. Reduced speed limits will be posted at times, and drivers should be alert for construction equipment and personnel throughout the work zone.
