GED Information

Free Adult Education classes are enrolling now.


The Gila County Adult Education Program is funded by the Arizona Department of Education and sponsored by the Gila County Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Roy Sandoval.  The program offers GED test preparation classes, English as a Second Language, College and Career Planning, and Distance Learning via the computer using My Foundations Lab.  All classes are taught by Adult Education certified teachers.  All services are free of charge.  Below are the sites offering Adult Education classes.

 GED® testing is available in Gila County
GED testing is offered in Gila County through an authorized Pearson VUE Testing Center.  More information about the GED Test and locations of official GED Test Centers can be found at  For questions about the Gila County testing center, please contact the Gila County School Superintendent's Office at 928-402-8783.
The GED test may be administered to children of age 16 & 17 with
parental/custodial consent, along with the copy of the student 
withdrawal form obtained from the last attended high school. Go to
