AZ Executive Orders Halt Evictions for
Renters, Small Businesses, Nonprofits
Are you worried about a possible eviction caused by job loss or income -- and due to covid-19?
Make sure to communicate with your landlord or mortgage company -- and also be aware that AZ Governor Doug Ducey issued two separate executive order halting evictions for small businesses, nonprofits and residents unable to pay rent due to financial hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The executive order encourages commercial landlords to defer rent payments and help their tenants who face economic hardship. Under the order, evictions will be halted until May 31, 2020. Read more:
