WHAT DO I DO?
In light of recent events in our Country, We at the Gila County Sheriff´s Office thought it would be in the best interest of the community to provide you with some tips on what to do in an evacutaion procedure.
By clicking on the links below you can print out a guide to evacuation procedures, offered to the public by the Gila County Sheriff´s Office.Included in the pamphlet are phone numbers to call for information, important items to take with you, where to go, how to get there, getting seperated from family members, making sure family pets are taken care of, and securing your home.
Always remember to try and remain CALM!
Have a plan, run through the process with your family, like a fire drill, so that just in case you ever have to be out in a hurry (and we hope you never will) you will be prepared. You can´t always take everything and sometimes you won´t have time to, so only try to pack necessities, medications, and items that can´t be replaced (photo albums). Remember homes and cars can be replaced, as long as you and your family get out safely in an emergency that is enough to be thankful for.
