Communities around the County

Smaller communities nestled throughout Gila County including Strawberry, Pine, Christopher Creek, Young, Tonto Basin, and Roosevelt provide for recreation opportunities from pine forests to saguaro dotted desert vistas. Gila County is also home to The San Carlos Apache. the Tonto Apache and a portion of the White Mountain Apache Reservations.
