Drainage complaints OUTSIDE OF REGULATORY FLOODPLAINS within unincorporated Gila County should be reported to the Gila County Engineering department for investigation.

Drainage complaints involving potential floodplain violations within unincorporated Gila County, Hayden, Winkelman or Star Valley should be reported to the Gila County Flood Control District for investigation. A floodplain violation occurs when any un-permitted activity diverts, retards, obstructs the regulatory floodplain. Other specific restrictions in the floodplain are included in the Flood Plain Management Ordinance.
