BOS gives $150,000 for Services for Seniors
The Gila County Board of Supervisors approved an economic development grant for $150,000 to Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens (PGCSC) at their Oct. 10 meeting. PGCSC will distribute the funding to senior centers throughout Gila County, so the funding goes to support services for seniors countywide. For the first time in recent years, the 17-18 Gila County budget guarantees this funding for local seniors by making it a line item.
