Highline Fire Precautionary Pre-Evacuation areas
Due to a change in Highline Fire weather and fuel conditions, Gila County Sheriff’s Office is issuing a Precautionary Pre-Evacuation Notification for residents in the La Cienega and Ellison Creek Estates Subdivisions. This is only a precautionary notification to prepare residents for the possible need for evacuation. There is no need to leave the area at this time. The precautionary pre-evacuation for Bonita Creek remains in effect.
Gila County Emergency Management is sending out an alert via Everbridge to residents in this area. Residents in Gila County are encouraged to sign up for this notification service at https://member.everbridge.net/index/892807736724090#/login.
Gila County Sheriff’s deputies will also be knocking on doors to convey pre-evacuation notification information to residents.
Residents who need more time to move livestock out of the area or residents who need more time, etc. are encouraged to start preparations now.
