Gila County recognized for APWA Project of the Year at annual conference

County Manager Steve Besich, District 2 Supervisor Joe Sanchez, Executive Adminstrative Assistant Shannon Boyer and Public Works Director Steve Stratton
 
 
Earlier this year, Gila County Public Works Department was selected as this year's recipient of the Public Works Project of the Year in the Disaster or Emergency Construction/Repair (Less than $2 Million) category for the Wildfire Prevention Project. 
 
The Arizona Chapter of APWA highlighted this achievement at the APWA Arizona Chapter Satewide Conference and presented Gila County with a plaque.
