Preparation for Super Bowl XLII

From mid-January through mid-February 2008, Glendale, Arizona and the Valley of the Sun will host Super Bowl XLII and related events. This event is expected to draw over 500,000 visitors. The Arizona Counter-Terrorism Information Center has prepared a public safety information document for Arizona citizens that gives us information on how we can assist Law Enforcement agencies in guarding against possible terrorist activities.

Free Tire Day to be held at the Tonto Basin County Yard from 8 till noon. 10 tires per licensed driver, must be less than 4 foot in diameter.

Both landfills will accept greenwaste for free in honor of Earth Day.
