| Well Child Clinic
What is “Well Child Clinic”? On the 3rd Thursday of the month the nursing staff offers a clinic for the children of Gila County at the Health Department located at 5515 South Apache Avenue in Globe. It is designed for infants starting at 1 or 2 months of age and continues until the child is 18 months of age or until indicated. The clinic helps to promote wellness by providing a physician to examine the child and by providing the appropriate immunizations. Parents can obtain information regarding their child’s growth and development, as well as any concerns they may have regarding their child with the medical staff. When will by child be seen? Your child will be scheduled to be seen at the following ages and will be given the appropriate immunizations recommended by the U.S. Public Health Service, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Arizona Department of Health Services: - 2 months of age
- 4 months of age
- 6 months of age
- 12 – 15 months of age
- 18 months of age

How much will the “Well Child Clinic” cost me? The “Well Child Clinic” is FREE for all children! Do I have to use the “Well Child Clinic” to get my child immunized? NO. If you decide not to utilize the “Well Child Clinic”, you may bring your child in for immunizations when he/she is due for them.
