COMMUNITY FLU CLINICS

Vaccination is the best way to protect you and your family from the flu. The Gila County Office of Health is in the process of scheduling seasonal and H1N1 flu clinics once the vaccine becomes available. We will hold three vaccination clinics at each site beginning this fall. You can learn about the specific dates once vaccine is on hand.

Seasonal Flu Clinics have been held in every community. Adult seasonal flu vaccine and seasonal flu vaccine for children 6 months through 35 months of age is available at both our Globe and Payson Offices. We will post on this website once we receive additional supplies of seasonal flu vaccine for children 3 years thru 18 years of age.

The Novel H1N1 Influenza Vaccine:    We will be holding novel H1N1 Community Clinics for the following priority populations: Pregnant women, medical personnel, children ages 6 months to 24 years of age, and persons giving care of living in a home where a child less than 6 months of age resides. Persons who do not fit into one of these categories may be turned away. We ask for your patience during this time of shortage.

Globe: December 5th, 2pm till 6pm, Lee Kornegay in Miami

Payson: December 11th, 4pm till 8pm, Julia Randall School
