According to the approved Ordinance #01-2, a Soil Evaluation or Perc Test must be performed by an individual or firm that has completed the GCHD Wastewater Training, and is currently listed on the GCHD Contractors List, and must be witnessed by an Environmental Health Specialist in order to be valid.

To schedule an appointment for a Soil Evaluation or a Perc Test, call (Payson) at 928-474-7175, or (Globe) at 928-425-3189, Ext. 8811 and ask for the Environmental Health Department.  GCHD’s fee is $150.00 and must be paid prior to the day of the Soil Evaluation or Perc Test.
