| Emergency Management A division of Gila County dedicated to the service of community and government safety during peace time or disaster, whether natural or man-made. This is accomplished through the management and coordination of varied resources including county departments, local government and private agencies.
Emergency Operations Center
To prepare and coordinate emergency operations plans in order to ensure the greatest protection of lives and property in the event of disaster, whether natural or man-made. Assist the Board of Supervisors in the mitigation of potential natural or man-made disasters by designing and implementing policies, procedures and systems that provide for early warning and effective emergency response and recovery operations. Support continuity of government during any county, state or national declaration of emergency. Develop and provide preparedness materials for the public. Administer and coordinate these activities on behalf of the Board of Supervisors with all Gila County departments and other responding entities in the government and private sectors. |
