Welcome to Gila County Animal Control and Shelter! 

We provide rescue and humane care to protect the health, safety and welfare of animals and people in Gila County and enforce State laws that pertain to domestic animals.

If you lose a pet, please call the Gila County Animal Shelter and report it. If we have impounded your dog or cat, you can get it back right away. You may also search online for your lost pet:

The Gila County Animal Shelter has a variety of wonderful animals for adoption. There may be one here that is just right for you!

The Gila County Animal Shelter is an “open admission” shelter and must accept every animal in need regardless of age, breed, temperament, appearance or medical condition.
