Teen Safe Driving Program

With fundiing from Arizona Department of Health Services we offer free safe driving classes for Gila County teenagers. This class helps to prepare new drivers to take the Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) state driver's test. We offer this class quarterly in Northern and Southern Gila County. If you are interested in enrolling your teen for this informative class, please contact Mariah Campagna at the Gila County Public Health Department.

According to the Center of Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), "Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for U.S. teens. Six teens ages 16 to 19 die every day from motor vehicle injuries."  The fact is, more than 2,300 teens lost their lives in car crashes in 2015. That’s six teens a day too many. Click on image below to learn more.
