Public Health Emergency Preparedness

The Public Health Emergency Preparedness program focuses on planning and preparation for response to public health threats from all hazards by interfacing with public health and public safety stakeholders, providing public preparedness education and organizing community volunteers. The program also interfaces with Gila County hospitals and physicians to ensure that the infectious disease surveillance system is operable 24/7.

For information in the event of a public health emergency tune your radio to KIKO-AM 1340 AM and KIKO-FM 106.1FM for the emergency alert system notification in the Globe-Miami Area.  In the Payson Rim country tune to KMOG AM at 1420 AM or 104.3/101.1 AM
