PERSONAL PROPERTY NOTICE OF VALUE/APPEAL FORM
Personal Property is unsecured mobile and manufactured homes, improvements on possessory rights (IPR) in which the owner of the improvement is not the owner of the land, or Business Personal Property. It does not include real estate.
Valuations are done in the same year the tax bill goes out which is different than real property (which is valued one year ahead of time).
Personal Property Notices of Value are sent out on or before August 30 of each year and the appeal deadline is 20 days after the Notice is sent.
If you received a Personal Property Notice of Value and want to appeal the valuation, you can request a form be sent to you, pick up a form at either the Globe or Payson Assessor’s Office, or print out the form using the following link and mail it back before the Appeal Deadline:
