09-02-0102/10/09Approving Planning and Zoning Department Case No. CUP-08-06, a conditional use permit request which pertains to Assessor’s tax parcel number 301-34-007A that was submitted by property owner Kimberly Teri-Savage to expand a bed and breakfast establishment located in Pine, Arizona, from 3 bedrooms to 5 bedrooms.
09-02-0202/17/09Supporting the Southeast Arizona Land Exchange and Conservation Act and urging the United States Senate and House of Representatives to promptly enact this legislation and to recognize Resolution Copper Company for its investments and efforts to develop a new copper mine and enhance the local, state and national economies.

Pfundheller as Trustee of the Lorrie S. Pfundheller Revocable Living Trust and to authorize the Chairman’s signature on the quit claim deed for said disposal.
09-03-0403/17/09Approving Planning and Zoning Department Case No. CPA-08-03, which is an amendment to the Gila County Comprehensive Master Plan.  It shall amend Gila County Assessor’s  tax parcels 303-15-005A and 303-15-005B; Land Use Classification is currently Residential 0.4 to 1.0 du/ac (dwelling units per acre) and will be amended to Residential 1 to 2 du/ac, which allows two (2) dwelling units per acre. 09-03-0903/24/09Approving Planning and Zoning Department Case No. SO-08-01, amending the Gila County Subdivision Ordinance by allowing the process for smaller subdivisions (twenty or fewer lots) to be eligible for this expedited review process. 
09-03-1003/31/09Authorizing the Board of Supervisors to sign an Intergovernmental Agreement (ADOT file no. IGA/JPA 08-1321) between the Arizona Department of Transportation and Gila County for design of a bridge and approaches over Tonto Creek near Punkin Center, Arizona.

09-05-0105/05/09Accepting a drainage easement across Lot 5, Strawberry Mountain Shadows, Gila County Plat No. 584A, and to authorize the Chairman’s signature on the Grant of Easement.
09-05-0205/19/09Authorizing the submittal of an application on behalf of and in partnership with the Payson Multi-Purpose Senior Center for consideration of funding by the Gila River Indian Community’s State-Shared Revenue Program.
09-05-0305/26/09Approving Planning and Zoning Department Case No. SO-08-01, which amends the Gila County Subdivision Ordinance by adding Section 1105.00-Green Building to Article II-Small Divisions section of the Ordinance.
09-05-0405/26/09Naming the following roads located in the El Capitan area of Supervisorial District Three:  West Snapdragon Way, South Chicory Lane and East Blazing Star Lane.  No objection has been received regarding these proposed road names.
09-06-0106/09/09Supporting the building of a new Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center in southern Gila County on the Tonto National Forest.
09-06-0206/16/09Authorizing the Gila County Board of Supervisors to purchase from BHP Copper, Inc. that property described in Fee No. 2009-006355 and more particularly shown
on Record of Survey/Lot Line Adjustment Map No. 3692, Gila County Records, Gila County Arizona.
09-06-0306/23/09Accepting the petitions and certifications that said petitions were signed by two-thirds of the members of the Strawberry Hollow Property Owners Association, Phase I and II and vacating public roadways within the Strawberry Hollow Subdivision Phase I and II.

09-07-0207/20/09Authorizing the Sheriff’s Office to submit a Grant Application (Proposal HS-2010 Gila County-119) to the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety for consideration of funds in the amount of $22,149.20 through Arizona’s 2009 Highway Safety Plan and to authorize Sheriff John R. Armer to act as Gila County’s agent with regard to this Grant Application.

09-08-0108/04/09Authorizing the submission of a grant application to the Arizona Department of Transportation which is being jointly sought and co-sponsored by the City of Globe in the amount of $521,166 with a match of $29,706 (to be equally split between the City of Globe and Gila County) for Transportation Enhancement Program Round 17 for sidewalks, curbs and gutters along Main Street from U. S. Highway 60 to the intersection of Golden Hill Road.

09-08-0308/17/09Simultaneously transferring a non-exclusive franchise license from Tonto Creek Estates Water System to Tonto Creek Utility Company to Tonto Creek Water Company, L.L.C. for a water distribution system which serves Tonto Creek Estates subdivision and Tonto Rim Ranch subdivision.
09-08-0408/25/09Supporting the San Carlos Apache Telecom Inc./Triplet Mountain Communications Inc. (SCATUI/TMCI) project to provide ten (10) miles of fiber optic connectivity between State Route 77 and the Pinal Substation in Gila County, Arizona.
09-08-0508/25/09Authorizing Gila County to enter into a line of credit with Great Western Bank for the issuance of letters of credit for the purpose of financial assurance required by ADEQ for Russell Gulch Landfill and Buckhead Mesa Landfill.

09-09-0209/15/09Consideration and possible adoption of Resolution No. 09-09-02 stating Gila County’s intention to incur a long term obligation; approving the form and authorizing the execution and delivery of necessary documents; approving the sale and execution and delivery of pledged revenue obligations, Series 2009, evidencing a proportionate interest of the owners thereof in the Purchase Agreement; delegating authority to the County Manager or Finance Director of the County to determine certain matters and terms with respect to the foregoing and authorizing the taking of all other actions necessary to the consummation of the transactions contemplated by this resolution.
09-09-0309/15/09Authorizing the Gila County Probation Department’s participation in the FY 2009-2010 Family Counseling Program through the Arizona Supreme Court, Juvenile Justice Services Division, and certifying that a matching fund requirement of $2,315 for the Program will be provided by the County.

09-09-0709/29/09Approving the disposal of an unnecessary public roadway being a portion of Nellie Drive, East Verde Park, Official Map No. 144 and more particularly described as “Shaded Area A” and “Shaded Area B” of Record of Survey Map No. 3759, Gila County Records, Gila County, Arizona and to authorize the Chairman’s signature on the Quit Claim Deed for said disposal to Gerald J. Koessler and Nancy M. Koessler. 
09-10-0110/13/09Naming a road in Gila County to be called East Horseshoe Springs Road.  The Rural Addressing Department has not received any opposition to this road name.
09-10-0210/13/09Approving Planning and Zoning Case No. Z-09-02, a request for a change in zoning from R1-D7 to M1 for tax parcel numbers 207-07-004 and 207-07-005A and a change in zoning from R1-D8 and TR to M1 for tax parcel number 207-23-011G, said parcels being 3 contiguous properties of approximately 25.44 acres owned by Gila County, located due east of the Cobre Valley Community Hospital near Claypool, Arizona, and are intended for future Gila County offices, equipment and material storage and vehicle repair buildings. 
09-10-0310/20/09Naming 2 roads in Gila County in the El Capitan area to be called North Silver Creek Road and North Haunted Springs.  The Rural Addressing Department has not received any opposition to these road names.
09-10-0410/27/09Supporting the continuation of the Gila County Specified Enterprise Zone for an additional five years, from October 27, 2009, to October 26, 2014, and to urge the Arizona State Legislature to preserve funding for the Enterprise Zone Program.
09-11-0111/03/09Pursuant to A.R.S. §28-7203, authorizing a roadway exchange whereby Tri-City Fire District by quit claim deed is deeding a portion of parcel no. 203-15-007E to Gila County, and Gila County by quit claim deed is deeding a portion of Hicks Drive adjacent to parcel no. 203-15-007E to Tri-City Fire District; and authorization of the Chairman’s signature on the quit claim deeds.
