Why can’t you pave the private road to my home?
Arizona Revised Statutes preclude governmental entities from working on private property unless it is a case of an emergency or health and safety hazard.

Isn’t the Board of Supervisors responsible for all property taxes in Gila County?
The County Board of Supervisors only controls the County tax rates. This excludes school districts, community college districts, fire districts, lighting districts, road districts, city and towns etc. For the average Gila County Tax payer, the County taxes comprise 23% of the total property tax bill.

Why is the value on my house automatically going up?
The values on locally assessed property are driven by a model based on comparable sales and administered by the State Department of Revenue.
